Airports, hospitals, and bunny ears

What a week - where do I start? Lots of eating, lots of drinking, and lots of fun. Christopher and I hit a Marlies game, the one-and-only Toronto Zoo (the hippo is the best animal ever), and had a family-packed weekend. Christopher met all the aunts, uncles, and cousins, and charmed the pants of 'em, of course.

We were in Grand Bend for Easter Sunday, and instead of having a chocolate easter egg hunt, we had an easter booze-hound hunt. All the men hid mini bottles of booze (and some big bottles too) all over the property, and the women had to go find them. It was hilarious! We were all wearing funny bunny ears, carrying around baskets, and climbing up trees just to find a mini bottle of Bailey's. I'll post pictures on my Flickr page when I get them. I think in total, there were 51 bottles of booze. It was very impressive.

Today was results day at Sunnybrook. Bloodwork: clear. Chest Xray: clear. CT Scan: clear. Hell yeah! That means, my blood looks good, there's nothing wonky on my lungs, and my lymph nodes are all the size they are supposed to be. I'm pretty flippin' happy about it. But that's all I'm going to say about stupid-head cancer today.

Christopher then took off for London, and I miss him so, so much already. One of these days our lives will be normal, but it sure as hell seems like someone wants to throw every single obstacle in our way, just to make sure we are really meant for each other. This has got to be the final test!
